This project is the world's first offshore drilling platform which operates 10-ton, 21Mpa steam generator to inject gas into a 4000m deep seabed oil field. CNOOC has published several international papers on the system. This is the first offshore TEOR 21MpA Steam generator in the world which was being put on a platform economically. The entire system was designed and produced by KLD China. It has been in use for more than ten years. The equipment is still safe, stable and efficient even with years of service in the harsh offshore environment.
